WEDDING
Every wedding is different. Every bride has a unique idea of the perfect wedding.
Our wedding coordination staff will work with you every step of the way, or not at all - it all depends on your needs and expectations.
Here are some guidelines:
Usually, the ceremony is held on the beach, near sunset, with the reception to follow, also on the beach.
We can host up to 120 guests, but most of our weddings are beteween 20 to 60 people. Please note that you must take over the entire resort with a 16 pax min and a 30 pax max, with the remainder of the guests coming over by boat for the actual wedding. There is a 3 night min stay.
Our electricity is solar, but we do have a generator for iPods, hair styling and bands.
A sample of our wedding dinner, buffet style:
- Top Sirloin
- Coconut shrimp
- Fish with almonds
- Parmesan chicken
- Alfredo fettuccini
- Mashed potatoes
- Salad bar with fruit, cesar salad, waldorf salad, seafood salad, ceviche. This menu can be altered anyway you would like.
If you wold like a free price quote, please answer the following questions:
- 1. How many guests are you planning to invite?
- 2. How many will be staying at the resort?
- 3. Would you like help with the planning, and if so would you like a cake?
Live music?
Flowers?
Fireworks? - 4. Would you like a legal wedding?
Note: We have found that easiest way to legalize the marriage is to get married in the states, then come down here for the ceremony and reception. If you do wish to legalize it down here, we will need at least six months to take care of the paper work. - 5. How many hours of open bar? International or domestic? Alcohol?
- 6. Would you like a professional photographer?

GROUPS, FAMILY REUNIONS
Majahuitas is the perfect spot for that special group of friends or a family reunion. The hotel is small, with just eight houses of one, two and three bedrooms. The ocean is in front and the jungle is in back, with no roads, making it a unique, private setting. YOGA GROUPS
Due to the unique diet needs of some groups, our minimum requirement is 16 people for Yoga groups.majahuitas@gmail.com
In the past, our groups have practiced Yoga on the beach, but we can adapt a more private area in back, if you would prefer. Since each group is different, please email us and give us an idea of what you are interested in. Do you want a strict vegetarian diet? Will you be interested in other activities?
